I began babysitting at 16 years old when a military family reached out to me regarding their three year old boy. In the beginning I helped with potty training as well as preparing his meals. I’m no professional chef, but I love to make fun and healthy meals and snacks and get kids involved in the process! While spending time with him, he loved when I would watch movies and paw patrol with him, as well as play games with his toy cars/trains. As he grew to be a little older and began to learn to read, I really loved helping him through the process and watching his excitement as he was learning. After the family was relocated, I spent a few months working at the Commonwealth Center for Children and Adolescence where I gained experience working with autistic and non-verbal children. I recently moved closer to home to be Read more closer to my parents and gained some experience teaching swim lessons and helping children gain confidence while in the water. I am now 24 years old with a bachelors degree in Psychology, a nonsmoker, and have never been in a car accident. I spend most of my time lounging around with my two dogs, Stanley and Luna, when I am not working. I either prefer to be curled up with a good book, or taking my pups out on a nice long sniff walk.
