Hi there! My name is Jenna. I am a full time Pre-K Teacher with our church- Starting again with age 2/3 for the new school year. For the record, I am certified as an ECC Assistant Teacher, but have always been titled as, and obtained the responsibilities of a Lead Teacher. I am also certified in CPR/First Aid for all ages. In addition, I have spent a portion (out of my 13 years of working with children), working directly with little ones who have special needs and/or learning disabilities, as well as physical disabilities, i.e. being wheelchair bound and/or unable to use the restroom by ones self. In addition, I am phenomenal with remembering important details and keeping up with responsibilities such as always remaining highly aware of any allergies, medical conditions and/or medication times if necessary. I'm a very empathetic soul, and I believe in my heart that every Read more child's emotions and feelings, no matter how big or small, are valid and they deserve to be treated with grace and compassion. I love my job and my kiddos (yes, I do call them mine as I will ALWAYS protect and care for them as I do my own children). I truly look forward to the highs, and even the lows of every day that I have been blessed with the opportunity to lead by example, and help our little humans become the absolute best version of themselves that they can be! Again, I adore my job and what it entails. However, I feel this would be a wonderful opportunity to dive into. I would enjoy something on a more personal level. *Just for context: I am 31 years old, I have a 10 year old son and a 7 year old daughter- who are my world! I've been working with children for 13 years and have worked with every age from newborn-school age. In my spare time, I love to play with my kiddos, go on bike rides/walks, and I also help care for my elderly father whom unfortunately, has Alzheimers.
