Hi, my name is Kelly, and I am a caring and experienced babysitter with a lifelong love for children. I understand that children are little persons with their own unique opinions and preferences, which I respect and find it fosters respect from them in return. As a mom of two wonderful grown sons (ages 22 and 25) and one who had a full-time career, I know firsthand how important it is to have a reliable, trustworthy, and nurturing caregiver, as well as someone who uses humor to engage with and motivate them. I grew up in Anchorage, Alaska and started babysitting at age 12. I was raised by a single mom who worked as a hospital nurse and she referred me to her nurse friends with young kids and I built up quite a clientele at a young age! I continued to babysit throughout high school and in college, gaining years of hands-on experience with kids of all ages. Now semi-retired, I’m looking to provide part-time babysitting for families who need a trustworthy, capable, and attentive caregiver. I loved being a mom and was an active volunteer in the PTA, boy scouts, and "cheerleader" for all their sports. I hope to be a grandmother one day (although not too soon!)
