I care for children and families with great enthusiasm. Care is a core characteristic that includes values such as accountability, organization, and love. Boundless energy keeps me on par and allows me to redirect a child's energy if needed. It is important I value a family's values as well. I also love seeing children grow into themselves; I let them know they’re important and respected…without letting them walk all over me, of course. Prior to my current position, I worked with two boys, from ages 5 and 8 through over 6 and 9, for almost 2 years. I also worked with a family who has 3 children. I have an MA in art education; while earning my degree, and after, I designed art and educational programs as well as physical activities such as teaching children yoga. I am loyal and would never leave a position with a family for a Read more different opportunity. I’m hooked on nannying! Whatever comes our way, I ensure plans for the day are completed on time. If something suddenly changes, I will find options on the fly. On the busiest days, (healthy) yummy dinners are served, housecleaning, errands, etc. are completed. Calm and sometimes all the fun in chaos! CPR/AED certified with some medical background, comfortable with pets. Experience with other-able children. Tutoring of all ages and subjects from preschool to AP Calculus.
