Looking for weekend and one-time jobs. Greetings lovely parents and guardians! How are you all doing? I am punctual, reliable, responsible, energetic, centered, creative, sociable, nurturing, imaginative, and loving. I have worked as an ESL teacher, a tutor, a special needs aid, a Kids’ Club Associate, and as a nanny with all ages for over 15 years. I enjoy learning languages and traveling; I'd love to teach or speak Spanish or basic Mandarin with your kids! My traveling experiences have taught me to adapt to new cultures, situations, parenting styles, and new environments fairly quickly. My philosophy when it comes to being a nanny is based on mindfulness, to be silly, educational, imaginative, inspirational, and kids subtly learn while having fun! I like to bring innovative ideas and creative activities for kids to enjoy. To continue, I'm a bookworm and I enjoy reading with kids, doing yoga, having dance parties, Read more making mac and cheese or cooking easy-to- make healthy foods, stacking blocks, making up games, and doing activities that allow for: imitative play, exploratory play, model-building play, free play, associative play, tutoring play, or parallel play; I treat my charges with the utmost care, respect, and love-like that of my own family! I practice mindfulness-which means I am aware of my body language and how to speak to children, because they observe everything! I am a Newborn Care Specialist, I am currently an Assessment & Observation Project Specialist for Early Education programs. I like to focus all of my attention on my charges, unless I need to send updates to parents/guardians or I need to communicate with them. Activities I don’t mind doing are: taking kids to the museum, zoo, amusement parks or such, but please take into account the entrance fees. I'm a Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid and CPR certified for infants, children, adolescents and adults by the American Heart Association. I'm a non-smoker, and I have a clean driving record. I’d be happy to provide references as well as meet or chat on the phone. Looking forward to hearing from you! POLICIES: INTERVIEWS: INTERVIEWS: Due to the commute/time, wear and tear on my car, please note that I can only do working interviews-one to two hours. CANCELLATIONS: I understand emergencies happen last minute, just let me know as soon as you can!
