I have worked in Early Childhood Education for 20+ years; in centers, preschools, and as a nanny. I was licensed as a foster parent to provide emergency care for infants and toddlers. I also lived on-site at an orphanage in Mexico where I was responsible for the daytime and nighttime care of five children under the age of 5, including an infant. More recently, I have been working in outdoor education. I am a former Tinkergarten leader; I helped launch Free Forest School in Cumberland County; and I currently own and operate Good & Rooted Nature School. I completed my Forest School Teacher Certification through the Forest School Teacher Institute and I’m working towards my BA in Early Childhood Education at Pacific Oaks College. I am also CPR/First Aid certified and can provide current background checks and clearances.
