I have been babysitting since I was 12 and have been working in a daycare for nearly 20 years. I'm also the mother of 2 boys, a 9 year old and a 10 years old. I have watched children of all ages, newborn through school age and really enjoy the triumphs and challenges of helping children learn and grow. I have encouraged learning in children through all stages of life, from helping them learn to sit, eat, crawl, and walk, to teaching letters, numbers, reading, writing, and even math. It is so rewarding to see children accomplish a new skill or ability and to see the thrill on their faces when they do something new for the first time. I have recently earned my CDA and am first aid and CPR train as well. In addition to helping children learn and grow in America, I also lived in S. Korea Read more for a year teaching English to Korean children ages 4-18. I prepared my own l lessons and materials and held a special private class for advanced students preparing to go to university. I am looking to watch 1 or 2 children in my home this coming summer for either a half or full day. I have a fully fenced in back yard, with plenty of toys for inside and outside play. I will provide breakfast and lunch if needed as well as snacks in the morning and afternoon.
