I started babysitting at the age of twelve, and I have continued to do so for over ten years with increasing amounts of responsibility and expertise. I understand that each child and each family dynamic is unique, and I make it my job to learn and cater to the individual preferences and personalities of each member of the family. I am one of five children, and I grew up in a bustling household. I believe this experience allowed me to have a high threshold for busyness and chaos, all while learning to create efficient schedules, routines, and priorities. In my 10+ years of providing child care, I have very much enjoyed building relationships with little ones, experiencing the world alongside them, and working to provide them with diverse, enriching, and stimulating experiences. I have worked with children and families of all ages, temperaments, personalities, and requirements. Childhood is such a profound and potential-filled time, and I aim to provide a safe and loving environment for children to explore themselves and the world. My degree in psychology has provided me with in-depth knowledge about the challenges and significance of each developmental period, and I bring that awareness into my interactions with each child. My degree in combination with my experience and my personal qualities of empathy, compassion, creativity, organization, and reliability make me a great fit for this position, and I look forward to the possibility of working with you and your family.
