Hello! I am 35 years old with my first child who is now 16 months old, being his mother has been the most amazing experience. Not only is he the sweetest boy, but he has also helped me find my true passion for children again. I have always adored children and now look at them with an even deeper compassion than ever before. I always wanted to work with children, but life ended up taking me in other directions; I became a Flight Attendant and then worked many years in the Restaurant Industry. I am sadly just leaving a family who has decided, economically, that day care was a better fit for them. I cared for their almost 2 year old girl Monday-Thursday 7am-4pm weekly. I was responsible for preparing both breakfast and lunch, naps and activities for the whole day as well as all cleanup along the way. I Read more was with them for a year, so I helped with transitioning to solids and even introducing potty training at the end. I have also been around children my whole life; with three younger brothers, babysitting for many neighbor families in my younger years, living with and helping care for my friend’s newborn twins at 19 years old and I have helped care for my 8 year old nephew since the day he was born. Now with a son of my own I have learned so much more about infants and now going into toddlerhood. I find it so rewarding to watch him grow mentally, physically and emotionally, I am constantly looking for enriching activities for his age group as he grows. I am now looking to share my knowledge and experience to help other children grow as well. I am looking to nanny with my son and provide fun and enriching experiences for these precious little ones.
