Hello, my name is Brittany! I’ve always loved working with children and started babysitting when I was 13. After high school I worked in day cares for about 10 years. I have my bachelors degree in Human Developmental and Family Studies with a minor in Social Work. For the past 5 years I have been working for a nonprofit as a social worker and family trainer which has been such a rewarding career but I truly miss working with children, as this is what my true passion is. I’m also currently a trainer at Learning Rx, helping children of all ages with learning disabilities build upon their skills to achieve higher levels of success in school. I’m recently married and have no children of my own, yet. I love animals and have 1 dog and 2 cats. I love the outdoors and believe learning from exploring is so important to Read more young minds. With my knowledge in human development, I bring a new approach in hands on, age appropriate learning. As a social worker and family trainer, I bring a different perspective on family dynamics and can help with family bonding, rules, rewards, and appropriate disciplines. I believe in rules and structure but implement them in a kind manner while also being flexible to different needs. I have the most experience working with babies and toddlers but have also worked closely with children and teens.
