Hi! My name is Tyler and I am currently pursuing my masters degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders at Columbia University. I have always been passionate about working with children and hope to continue that within my career. During my undergraduate studies, I served as a student teacher in a kindergarten classroom where my passion for working with children grew. In the classroom, I collaborated with my cooperating teacher to devise lesson plans, tutor children, and create fantastic art projects. I previously volunteered with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Massachusetts Bay, which is a non-profit organization whose mission is to create and support one-to-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth. Through this organization, I served as a mentor to my 11-year old little. Before becoming a Big Brothers Big Sisters volunteer, I worked for several years at a local day camp with kids ages 3-14. I enjoy music, dance, games of all kinds, and most importantly caring for children. I am CPR certified and Covid vaccinated.
