We hired Lisa for about 2 months to care for our baby daughter. We could tell she was well cared for and safe as Lisa was kind, attentive, and gentle. Lisa would even take the initiative to do some chores to help if she could, like when the baby was sleeping close by and would even cradle her often while sleeping. She read books, did tummy time, and would play with her. However, while Lisa took the initiative to accomplish tasks, doing housework and chores was not part of our requirements/expectations for her position, and she would not ask our preferences before doing them even if one of us was around in person. When we would make recommendations or suggestions afterward--as she increasingly seemed to want to take on more--she would get upset. Even asking her to modify something with regards to taking care of our daughter would be a big deal as she came with this attitude that she always knew what to do. In short, she welcomed praise but appeared not to take constructive feedback well. After a while, it sometimes felt like a power struggle and we had constant issues with how to bring things up.

Extremely rude comments after missing all of our phone interviews we had set up. Once I told her I wasn’t going to use her because she was unreliable her response was well you probably couldn’t afford me anyway! DO NOT HIRE!!!!
