Hello family! My name is Katelynn. I'm a very patient, energetic, outgoing, caring person. Activities I enjoy include sports such as soccer, hiking, art, cooking, playing with my Husky, Nova, and anything that involves being outdoors! I am very active in volunteer work and giving back which includes feeding the homeless and helping in Sunday school. I have also been on multiple volunteer trips to Mexico and as well as a month in Ukraine helping at an orphanage for 200 children which was an amazing opportunity! My experience with children is very wide ranged which has allowed me to become very confident and comfortable with caring for children! I have owned and directed my own California Licensed Childcare program, Ms. K's Busy Bee Childcare in Vacaville for 2 and a half years now. Unfortunately due to my husband and I moving, I had to close my beloved program. Before opening my own Childcare, I was a nanny for about 7 years and have been blessed with working aside a total of 4 families as a long term, full time nanny. My absolute favorite thing about working as a nanny is building the long term relationship between the family and I. Watching the kids grow up, attending life events and families gatherings have been the highlights I have had a Childcare Provider. I've cared for ages from newborn to 16 years old and up to 8 children at once. I am a natural care taker so as well as making sure I meet all the families needs, I have no problem with housework, helping with laundry, running errands and cooking meals. My philosophy with childcare is for the family to come home to happier children and a cleaner house then the left. My position is to make your life easier so the time you are home is time enjoying your family and your home!
