I am currently an instructor for adults with developmental disabilities. I am very passionate about the work I do and believe in the abilities of all my students. A big part of my job is helping my students develop their social skills and encourage them to learn new skills as well. Although I love the work I am currently doing, I know that my specialty is doing one-on-one support. Since I usually work with groups of two or more, my attention is divided. I would rather focus on one individual and be able to help them achieve their goals. My strongest skills as a teacher: Patience, optimistic attitude, open-minded, organized and energetic.
