I am currently a first year MSW student at UM. I'm studying mental health practice and would love to work in school social work in the future! I absolutely love being around children and learning about their personalities. I grew up in suburban New York and frequently babysat for my brother and his friends, who are between six and seven years younger than I am, when our parents went out. I was always put in charge of the children during family get togethers. My primary experience is with toddlers through pre-teens but I'm open to any ages. I grew up in a single parent household so I understand how limited time can be for single parents and would love to provide support in any way possible! My past work experience includes in-home care for people with Autism Spectrum Disorder. I helped them with cooking, cleaning, as well as self-care and Read more hygiene. I have experience with helping people with ASD work towards achieving their goals, whether they are behavioral or interpersonal. I'm passionate about healthy living and continue to participate in a number of activities, including dance and figure skating. I also enjoy theatre and the arts, so no one will ever be bored! I'm a Michigan sports fan before all else and absolutely love watching hockey so I have no problem doing after school activity runs!
