Hello, my name is Ari and I am a born and raised Hoosier! I am currently seeking my next opportunity with a wonderful family. Here is a little about myself! I am currently earning my degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography, and I hope to work in a private practice where they help expecting women who have experienced abuse and are seeking shelter and recovery. I was raised by a single mother who taught me dedication, empathy, and the courage to seek understanding instead of judgment. Although my mother gave me the best care possible, growing up came with many challenges and constant adjustments. Those experiences shaped me into the caregiver I am today. I am passionate about providing children and young adolescents with consistency, support, compassion, and most importantly, a safe, fun-loving environment! I always enjoyed spending time with my younger cousins, whether providing fun games for us to play, playing I spy in the side forest at our house, or being the first to volunteer to change a diaper or strap a baby to my chest. I enjoyed every minute with them and hated every minute apart. These memories and experiences led me to my first job working with children. Since then I have worked in before and after care assistant programs, summer camps, private and group swim lessons, part-time babysitting, nannying, mentoring young women, and daycare. I have had experience with infants to middle school-age children. In my free time, I love to do anything active! I enjoy going to any live concert whether that's a festival or a hole-in-the-wall concert! I also love reading my favorite genre would have to be science fiction or any romance selection. Hiking is also one of my hobbies that I thoroughly enjoy. Going to new places with amazing views is always an experience I am open to having! Although these activities I enjoy doing during my time. I also love to incorporate them into my day-to-day nannying routine. I love being able to provide experiences, and am very active with lots of energy to keep up with little ones!
