Hello! My name is Mariana. I have 3 years of experience. I have babysat for relatives and neighbors (ages newborn to 9 yrs) for the past 4 years. I have a toddler cousin who just turned two that I’ve cared for since he was born. I've been doing my work-study at a daycare for the past 2 years in Roxbury where I've mainly cared with kiddos from 2 yrs to 4 yrs. Last summer, I worked as a camp counselor at Trinity Episcopal School in Austin where I worked with kiddos from 3 yrs to 5 yrs. At both the daycare and camp, I help teach and focus on the kids' development. I also babysat a 6 month old and his sister (2 y/o) last summer. This summer (Apr-Aug), I took care of a babygirl (5m to 9m) and her sister (4) and had so much fun with them. I Read more have 3 younger siblings (7 yr boy, 15 yr girl, and 18 yr girl) which has given me knowledge on how small kids and young teenagers think and react. I live in Back Bay where most things are close by. I am going into my Junior year at Northeastern University where I am double majoring in Criminal Justice and Psychology and minoring in Law and Public Policy. I am Adult, Child and Infant, Pediatric CPR/AED and First Aid Certified. I am bilingual (Spanish) and great at teaching and love playing. I am great at organizing and keeping things tidy. I would be perfectly fine doing light chores, loads of' laundry, folding and putting it away. As of now, I am free after 5:45pm Mon-Fri and I’m free all day on weekends.
