I am a compassionate and dedicated childcare provider who is committed to helping children thrive! I am a Bowdoin College graduate and a recently returned Peace Corps volunteer who served as a Primary Education Teacher Trainer in The Gambia, West Africa from 2022-2024. During my service, I had the privilege of caring for and teaching children of all ages, from newborns to 18-year-olds. This experience has honed my ability to be patient, adaptable, and resourceful in various caregiving situations. As I prepare to begin my Master's of Nursing program at Emory University this fall, I am seeking a full-time or part-time babysitting opportunity. While I am new to paid babysitting, I bring 7+ years of hands-on experience in various childcare settings. These include my roles as a mentor throughout high school, a volunteer with children with special needs during college, a babysitter and tutor at a domestic violence shelter, and Read more a primary caregiver for my host siblings in The Gambia. Furthermore, I am the eldest girl of six siblings and twenty cousins, so childcare has always been a natural part of my life. In addition to my practical experience, I am First Aid and CPR certified and have 5+ years of experience in tutoring and teaching students from preschool to 12th grade. I am happy to assist with homework, test preparation, and other educational needs. I also enjoy meal preparation, light housekeeping, and providing additional support to families in need of help around the home.
