I have a B.S. degree in Family and Consumer Science, with focus area of child development. I have worked as an Early Childhood Program Specialist for years, Director of a childcare center, a homeschool teacher, and elementary teacher. My philosophy in childcare is simply that children learn all developmental skills through love, play, trial and error, laughter, and joy. Creating trusting and secure bonds with each child is the cornerstone of caregiving. I have current CPR/First Aid, Food Handlers, TB negative test, Level 1 Fingerprint clearance card, as well as BBP certificate. I have written curriculum from ages 4 weeks to 5 years, and always have activities that develop and enhance the child's physical, emotional, social, intellectual, and creative development. Focusing on the child's interests, strengths, and needs always lends to the best childcare experience. I have amazing references upon request.
