Hello, my name is Lauren! I am 29 years old. A little bit about myself. I work as a Specialized Paraprofessional in the school districts. I help special needs students, and care for their physical, emotional health and safety, affirming their abilities, and striving to promote dignity in all relationships. I am a graduate from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles with a bachelor’s in Health and Human Sciences and a Minor in Dance and Liberal Arts. I am in the process of pursuing graduate school for Occupational Therapy. A huge passion of mine is dancing. I have been dancing all of my life since the young age of three, which has taught me how to be dedicated, committed and passionate about something. Growing up, my Grandmother was the “nanny of the town.” I was always surrounded by kids when I was at her house. Watching my grandmother care and Read more love for the children she watched instilled a natural care and love in my heart to want to do just as she did. I have been a babysitter/nanny for many years. I have had the pleasure of working for families who have had newborns to teens. I also have experience with watching and caring for children with special needs. I am an upbeat friendly person that will work hard to make sure that the children and parents are happy with my performance.
