Monsii was our full-time nanny for almost 3 months of a 5 month temporary full-time nanny position she was hired for. She was patient, gentle, and had an even temperament, which was really great for our infant. She was responsible for her in-home care from 9-5 daily, so we could work from home, while maintaining breastfeeding and starting solids. She also was repsonsible for table-feeding her twice a day, two naptimes, two walks, and cleaning up when done in our living room and eating area where she cared for our baby. Lastly, she was also responsible for laundering the baby's clothes and reusable diapers. Monsii was sweet and pleasant to be around and did her responsibilities. However, she struggled with keeping consistent to her hours (9-5 daily, 5 days a week) despite agreeing to that up front for a 5-month period. She also was inconsistent about needing to take time off. She would ask to show up late at the last minute, and would consistently want to change her schedule. Her communication was not always sufficient and at times unclear. Our last experience with her, she asked to take part of a Monday off, the day before at 730p, leaving us no time to find a replacement. We informed her that we were not able to find a backup for the remainder of her shift, and instead of coming in for part of the day, she was a no-show all together. This happened more than a few times and caused us a great deal of strife, at a particularly difficult junction of life already, with a newborn, given we hired her for support during working hours. Monsii did a decent job with our baby, but we do not recommend her as a nanny, or in any capacity where you are reliant upon her with no suitable backup on a regular basis for work or other high priority commitments. In our opinion, Monsii is probably best suited for ad-hoc baby sitting on nights or weekends for date nights or other less formal commitments.
