I’m the eldest of the children in my family, so I discovered my natural caregiving nature at a young age. I have been a caregiver of people ages 3 through 93! The elderly are such treasure troves of wisdom and history, and the children are good for my soul; they amuse me, surprise me and fascinate me. I like watching them grow, I like teaching them and getting the satisfaction that I have helped a young one learn learn. Currently I am caring for sisters—a three-year-old, and one who turned six years old last month. I most like to play and interact with them in way in which they learn. For example, the girls’ first language is English, and I am teaching them to speak Spanish. Of course, what I’m able to teach them depends on age and what a parent wants in that regard. I’m willing to do light Read more housekeeping, and I am also an experienced house sitter and pet sitter. I’m extremely flexible, I have references, and I’m looking forward to having an opportunity to get acquainted with some parents to see if our needs mesh!
