Hi! In addition to my love for working with kids, I have 10+ years of childcare experience, between babysitting, au pair work abroad, live-out nannying, daycares (including Sunday school and YMCA), and preschools. Most of my experience is with infants and toddlers/pre-k children. I especially enjoy working with this age group through creative learning means, such as art and music, to help with developmental skills. I have worked as an art assistant teacher at two daycare centers, where I regularly created age-specific art projects to teach the children topics such as seasons, animals, and basic vocabulary and numbers. Cooking is one of my favorite hobbies and I am always happy to help with meal prep! I can also assist with housework, cleaning, and homework as necessary. Virginia was an excellent sitter for our 4-year-old daughter while we attended a Friday night wedding. She was super friendly, professional, and communicative leading up to and throughout the evening. We appreciated her taking a call with us and providing references beforehand, which gave us peace of mind as this was our first time hiring someone from an app. She arrived on time and immediately engaged us and our daughter. We felt confident leaving her in a safe, fun environment. Virginia played monopoly with our daughter, planned dinner out at a restaurant, ice cream, and bedtime. Does it get any better?
