I have worked with children for almost 8 years now. My first introduction into child care started with babysitting family friends, and young family members. My carrer on a professional stand point started with my experience working as a assistant teacher and before/after care program adviser. From there I built a relationship with the families and opened myself up to nannying. I then got hired as a Rota and have loved the experience. In my previous rolls I did the following duties. - Provided personalized/ customized child care for children at home. -Contributes to a safe nurturing, stimulating, and caring environment in which the children thrive and develop in. -Plans the child’s daily schedule, and grocery shops nutritious balanced meals. -Administers one-on-on care and meets the social, intellectual, and emotional needs of children. -Keeps children's areas sanitized and organized and upkeeps children's laundry. -On occasion include light housekeeping task such Read more as, cooking, laundry, and cleaning. - Working one on one with several children with either mental or physical disabilities. Children with behavior problems. - Participated in the creation of hundreds of pages of engaging educational materials, including weekly quizzes/test, and study sheets. I also have Infant, Adult, and First aid CPR certification.
