I love children. I am an empty nester (of 5 children). I live alone and I miss raising and teaching the children and the role of a wife so homemaker. I had 3 yrs experience as a chef and then had 5 years experience working in a Daycare with the infants, with the Toddlers and then taught Pre- K before I was married. I worked 10 years in Customer Service total all while raising my children and between it all got a Bachelors Degree in Buisiness and an Associates in Psychology. I was a Sunday School Teacher and took CPR and HASMAT training and taught English in a private school. I also did editing for my husbands buisiness ( and for my childrens Essay assignments).I found better pay by working as a Substitute Teacher in the Public schools for 3 years. My husband and I were Host Parents for 4 Read more teenaged Chinese girls who attended Catholic school with our children and soon I started a Company called "Whiteglove Cleaning" and secured employment for my growing adolescents. As they moved out I added a job doing food Shopping and Delivery to my resume I also found myself raising my granddaughter( to the age of 9) for a daughter who didnt feel ready. My husband passed and I began doing Rideshare to stay flexible enough to plan towards moving South out of cold Massachusetts to join other relatives in North Carolina. My children continued to move on to marry and only 1 came with me to North Carolina. She is now engaged and living with her fiance in Wake Forest. Ive just retired the 13 hour a day drives and decided to settle down. I have 2 houses Im renting out. One is in Clayton and the other on the River in Burgaw. I created an apartment for myself in each of the houses by renovating the Master suites to keep my options open. I miss being a homemaker and a mother and was considering starting a company and calling it "Moms Helping Hands". I thought it might be good to find a place where there is a family who needs a helper such as myself and so I sought you out. A pay of $20 an hour is acceptable and I can do all the duties of a homemaker you might need. The cooking, cleaning, laundry and shopping, picking up the kids from school and helping them with homework or to the library for research I can also help organize the finances as needed. There are no restrictions to keep me from coming or going so I could live in or out of your home and stay over if you have need. I'm more like a grandma now. I'm here to help you do errands and chores and give the kids happy lives
