Hi, I’m Torie! I’ve been around kids my whole life—and I truly love them. As the oldest of four, I helped raise my younger siblings, and I was homeschooled in a licensed home daycare setting. That early environment sparked a lifelong passion for caregiving, leading me to teach Sunday school for 5 years and nanny/babysit off and on for 4. All of my best friends have kids, and they’ve lovingly nicknamed me “Aunt Ti Ti” because I’m the go-to when a trusted helping hand is needed. Caring for children isn’t just something I like to do, it’s part of who I am. It’s also preparing me for having a family of my own with my husband one day. I have experience with children of all ages and I’m currently in the process of renewing my CPR and First Aid certification. I can cook and also help with light cleaning (available Read more for an additional fee), and I always strive to create a safe, happy, and fun environment for every child I care for. I prefer to do a meet-and-greet with parents and the child to make sure we will be a good fit for each other. If you need something last minute, we will need to discus specifics ahead of time. I’m very big on open lines of communication between me and parents, it’s essential for both of us to ensure the best care for your child. When kids are young and impressionable, it’s vital to find a qualified caregiver you can trust and I’d be honored to be that person for your family.
