Hello! My name is Anya and I am from Bethesda Maryland. I am excited to introduce myself and tell you a little more about me. I have 4 years of experience working with children ages 2-11. Working with kids is truly one of my passions. My first job was at a private school, where I provided care for children in an aftercare program daily. I oversaw 20 children ages 3-5 with my coworker. After I graduated high school I spent a year and a half working as a full-time nanny for a wonderful family with three energetic children ages 5, 8 and 10 and an adorable puppy. In this role, I took on a variety of responsibilities, including getting school work done with the kids, cooking, cleaning, taking care of and helping train the dog, and m driving the kids to activities. It was incredibly rewarding to see the kids Read more grow and thrive. When I started online college after my gap year I worked with 2 boys part time daily where I picked them both up from school, would take them to the park or library and then cooked dinner and also prepared lunches for them. I love working with children and bonding with them, whether it’s through arts and crafts, outdoor adventures, or educational games. Currently, I am enrolled in my second year in an online program at the University of Maryland, pursuing a degree in finance. I am very responsible and prioritise my job and school work above all else. I understand and put emphasis on the importance of open communication with parents and am always willing to discuss any specific needs or routines to ensure the best care possible.
