I’m Lauren! Some of my favorite things are running, cross country skiing, and illustrating; and, I’ve always been very passionate about working with kids. I truly love seeing the world through their lens of playful curiosity. After babysitting and volunteering with youth engagement in various settings for 5 years, I became a kindergarten teacher at a Waldorf school. It was there that I experienced working with students ranging from infants to 8th grade. I’ve also been coaching high school Nordic skiing for the past 3 years. Most recently, I was working at a folk school where I taught kid’s camp and several crafting classes for children. These experiences have prepared me to understand and tend to the needs of both very young children and more independent, grade-level children. As a babysitter, I love to provide both care and enrichment. Regulating bodies and minds through play, movement, and handwork is something Read more I’m well trained in. I’m confident in my ability to establish a sense of warmth and trust in building relationships with kids and parents, and happy to communicate strategies to make this care arrangement the right fit!
