Hello! My name is Becky. I am a 40-something mother of 2 (20 and 18). I hold an active elementary teaching certificate, though I currently choose to work as a teaching assistant in a special needs inclusion based elementary classroom. I love working with children of all shapes, sizes, and abilities! I have worked as a nanny (amongst other things) off and on throughout the years while raising my two kiddos and finishing my masters in teaching. About 7 years ago I received the opportunity to work with special needs students at a local school, and found a missing piece of my heart in this work. I am looking to fill my time outside of school, now that my kids are grown, with the rewarding work I am sure caring for others again will provide! Maybe we will be a good match!
