Hello there, I'm Rebecca. I am a trustworthy, kind and friendly person who genuinely loves children. As a highly creative and fun individual, I like to think of myself as a child at heart. The ability to identify and empathize with children is crucial to its effectiveness. Children are drawn to me because of my abilities with connecting and bonding with them. My abilities have proven successful in creating an environment for children based on compassion, kindness and let's not forget the most important thing --- fun! Did I happen to mention that I'm a master at arts and crafts with kids! I think a great outlet for children is one in which they can express their artistic talents. A little background information about myself -- I worked as a preschool teacher for 2 years. In my time working in the preschool setting, I taught every age from newborns to school age students. I have been responsible for groups of 4-10 children at a time, depending on the age. I have taught and guided lessons on monthly themes as well as academic lessons in preschool. I was required to carefully log each child's meals, diaper changes and activities during the day. I have also been a nanny for a 12 year old, a family with 4 children from 4 months to 12 years old and another family with a 13 year old.
