My name is Mikal McFail-Prince, please feel free to call me Kel for short. I am 21 years old soon to be 22. I was a full time student at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore where I completed 4 years of education. I first started off as a Pre-med major, but decided to study biology education to one day become a teacher. Thanks to all of the wonderful families that I have worked with and experience that I have gained my plans of one day becoming a teacher has now changed to becoming a full-time nanny with a education degree! While being in college I have gratefully obtained experience being a babysitter, nanny, and most recently CNA experience working with disabled adults. Mikal worked for one whole week then disappeared. She disconnected her mobile and didn't return my email. We were genuinely concerned for her well being. A simple text (anything) would have been a decent thing to do.

Kel helped us out on weekdays for a month (Jan. 2022) when we were in a bind. She was wonderful and we really miss her! She was so patient with the kids (5 and almost 2) and kept them safe. She loved playing with them and knew how to set appropriate boundaries when their behavior slipped. She did very well sticking to their schedule and keeping them in their routine. My family greatly benefited from her help and the kids loved her. Her education background really came through in using different communication strategies and educational activities with the kids. I could tell she truly enjoys working with children. Don’t miss the opportunity to have her work with your child!
