Meet Sharon
Hello! My name is Sharon Palmer I am a graduate of the University of Missouri Saint Louis. I have an earned Bachelor of Arts in Communications and a Public Relations Certification. During my college experience, I was afforded the opportunity to work as a student assistant in the campus child development center. After graduation, I decided that teaching was my true passion. I was offered a Two-Year-Old Lead Teacher position with Bright Horizons Family Solutions. After 4 years in this position I wanted to advance my skill set as an educator. In the Ritenour School district, I was an Academic Intervention Assistant and ELL Assistant during the pandemic. I really enjoyed my time getting to know my students and being able to help them grow academically. During this time frame, one of the parents of my former students asked if I would take care of her daughter in the Summer. Read more Our relationship blossomed and I took care of her daughter for five years. We still have a very close bond . While taking care of my former student, I decided that I wanted to go back into the Early Childhood Education setting. I was given the opportunity to teach threes, fours, and fives. I am a compassionate, caring, understanding, and nurturing person. I handle all children and families with the utmost respect and care.
