I graduated from NIU in December with a Bachelor in Elementary Education and immediately was offered a position as a Kindergarten teacher. I have been teaching and completing my clinicals in elementary classrooms for five years now. At the same time, I worked at the YMCA in "Kids Zone" supervising large groups of children ages 6-weeks-old to eight years old. I have also been babysitting for six years. I have a lot of experience babysitting infants and newborns as I have a large network of families in the Sycamore/Dekalb area that I babysit for. I am required through my employment to be first aid and CPR trained.
