Hi my name is Debbie Lala. I currently work at an elementary school in Iowa city as a special education para educator. I am going on my fifth year. I also have a 49 year-old Down syndrome nephew that I work with on the weekends. I have a Heart Saver for K through 12. I have three grown sons and multiple grandchildren. I enjoy taking children to their extracurricular activities and enjoy rooting them on. I love adventures, board games, cooking, and anything the children would like to teach me. I am actually trying to find a family that basically I can work with the children or child when school is not in session. During the holidays, miss days, off days, and especially summer.
