I am a former teacher with a Bachelor's Degree in elementary education. I taught school for 13 years. I left public education because I didn't like all of the testing that my county was requiring my first graders to take. I feel that children should learn in an environment that fosters creativity and personal growth. After I quit teaching in public schools, I worked in daycare for 10 years. I left daycare for a few years and tried other work, but I want to return to my first love - working with children. I am excited and eager to care for children of any age as a babysitter or a nanny while making sure they have a great time, are safe, and learn something along the way.
