Hello! My name is Cecilia. I have been a nanny for the last two or three years since taking a break from college. I have loved babysitting since middle school; I enjoy working with children, but I especially love taking care of babies. I have diverse experience with children from newborns to middle school. One of my favorite nannying experiences so far was working with the same family from October 2022-December 2023. It was so special to me to be able to take care of both the little girls over such a long continuous period. It was beautiful to learn to care for a newborn into toddlerhood. I gained a lot of knowledge and expertise from the experience. Before nannying I did three semesters of College studying Philosophy, German and Liberal Arts. I enjoyed academics, but after three semesters I decided to take a break and since then have been Read more working as a nanny. My career goal is to be nannying while working towards becoming a doula and I hope to complete my bachelors degree online in the future. I particularly love to nanny infants and toddlers and have the most experience in these ages as well. A little about my style of nannying, I consider myself very patient, gentle and attentive. I like to focus on being attentive and empathetic and listening to the needs of the child. I love to engage and play with them but I also think it is important to step back and allow the child to learn to play independently as well (with appropriate supervision). I am eager to learn and adapt to whatever is needed. I am willing to do light housework and preparation of meals and love to have clear communication and expectations from the parents. I am CPR certified.
