Early retired art teacher who has a small art business and grew up in a big family! I was the eldest daughter with a big age gap and four younger siblings, so I grew up changing diapers, burping, feeding, bathing, and caring for little ones. Being creative, I always had great fun coming up with fun projects to keep them entertained. From building doll houses with cereal boxes to inventing kites with plastic bags and few pieces of string, I kept their curiosity flowing with tons of giggles along the way. As a professional, I graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a Bachelor's in K-12 Visual Arts Education. I spent several years teaching creativity camps in the summertimes at the Ann Arbor Art Center, before working for a non-profit that brought art to lower income Detroit Public Schools. While I always enjoyed my time with the students, the restrictions of Read more the public school system led me to leave the profession early to start my own art business and tutor students privately. I've tutored children in various subjects including reading, writing, math, sewing, and fine arts. I have a true passion for the growth and joy of children.
