I am currently a college student pursuing a degree in Political Science. I have one year of paid childcare experience, along with approximately five years of informal experience caring for children. This includes caring for my younger siblings and being entrusted with the supervision of family members' children. These experiences have equipped me with strong caregiving skills, a sense of responsibility, and the ability to create a safe and engaging environment for children of various ages. During my paid childcare experience, I was responsible for supervising children and ensuring their safety in a nurturing environment. I developed and facilitated engaging, age-appropriate educational and recreational activities, prepared nutritious meals, maintained clean and organized play and living spaces, and supported children with their homework. I also managed nap routines, assisted in preparing them for bedtime, and maintained open communication with parents regarding their child’s behavior, progress, and daily activities.
