I am the youngest on both sides of my family, so I've been designated babysitter for my family's kids for a few years now. I mostly watched the kiddos when they were newborns and through toddlerhood, so I am well versed in infant care. I also worked as a daycare provider for 2 years and when I left that job, I would watch some of my former littles when mom or dad needed a date night or worked through the summer. That daycare was actually at a public school, so I was able (and required) to receive professional development training on many subjects such as CPR, first aid, emergency preparedness and more. I can even run a fire drill if I ever need (lets hope not)!
