Being around children is a truly rewarding experience. I grew up taking care of both of my siblings, who are seven and nine years younger, and have since then found comfort and joy in the responsibility of caring for others. Being around children gives me the opportunity to see them grow and learn, while giving me the opportunity to be playful and imaginative. I have two years experience of paid babysitting, and extensive personal experience prior to this. Most of my work has been with children aged 2-12. I have also worked with children in other environments, such as tutoring. Safety is always a top priority across all my jobs. I have a solid understanding of child development, which definitely aids in engaging with children. I'd consider myself an organized person, and can follow schedules and rules well, while still giving room for adaption when things don't go as planned.
