I’m currently in an EKG program and looking to expand my knowledge in healthcare, with the goal of eventually teaching in high school or elementary school. I have experience caring for others, from infants to the elderly. Growing up, I took care of my siblings, which taught me to be an expert at diaper changing, as well as developing patience, creativity, and culinary skills. Cooking for their unique taste preferences was a challenge, but it also sparked my love for cooking. Whether it was preparing their breakfast/lunch or simply seeing them enjoy the meals I made. To help them break free from the TV and combat their boredom, I created fun learning activities. Which expanded my creativity by their artsy activities! I also helped care for my baby nieces, which taught me to be prepared with different strategies for nighttime wake-ups. Those quiet nights, singing them a lullaby in Spanish Read more as I rocked them to sleep, brought me a sense of peace. I speak to them in Spanish, English, and Portuguese, helping them expand their language skills even to this day.
