My name is Katie, and I am 35 years old. I have been caring for children for what seems like my entire life, and I love it! I am currently in the SPED teacher program at GSW, but my end goal is to become a behavioral therapist or child psychologist. I have cared for children of all ages, but I have the most experience with newborns and up to 8-9 years olds. I have 3 years experience being a kindergarten para, and I have one year experience working solely with children with severe and profound disabilities. I love working with children because I connect with them on every single level almost immediately. I am patient even when it is tough.
