I think children have such a fantastic way of teaching you how to be curious again. They also teach you so much about yourself and help you sometimes disconnect from the world and just go back to the freedom of being in a kids world again. I have two nephews that I absolutely love, they live in Arizona now, and being with kids helps me not miss them as much. I love finding activities and games to play to get kids engaged and entertained. Whether it is running a race, game of pretend, hide and seek, or just asking questions, I think it’s such a blessing to be able to spend time with them! I studied Art History in college , and somehow ended up Human Resources, but am so grateful it turned out this way! I am active in my church and serve in both the children’s ministry and Read more nursery. I like to be active when I can and love to cook and try new recipes or dishes. I am CPR certified and have been live scanned and passed background checks for my position at work and for my service at my church. My experiences vary and have all been such a joy to be a part of. I volunteered at a young age for children with disabilities and was responsible for being their buddy and helping in anything from exercise to activities and food. I worked for a summer camp where my role was the crafts and activities coordinator for children of all ages. I worked for the boys and girls club for a year as a 5-6th grade teacher. I worked at a nursery for a Jewish congregation during their Shabbat sometimes watching over up to 6 toddlers alone. I currently serve in my church as an assistant for 2nd-3rd graders and nursery.
