Meet Kayla

For the past year and a half I've been nannying two children , an almost four and almost 2 year old, full time. Through this position I've had the opportunity to guide and enrich these children's lives through some very pivotal mile stones. I've worked through developing and sustaining sleep schedules, potty training, early developmental education, teething, disciplinary tactics, and open ended play. Prior to my previous experience I was also an interim nanny for two girls, ages 4 and 7, while their permanent nanny was on maternity leave. My responsibilities included transportation to school and activities, planning play dates, engaging the girls in reading and other activities. I have also volunteered for children's theater summer camps as a counselor and assistant costumer. This was a great opportunity to get creative and silly with children, and see how they opened up when given the opportunity. Besides these core experiences I Read more have also babysat for several different families, whether it be for date nights or the parents needing to run errands on the weekend.
