My first job in professional child care was as a camp counselor from 2016 and that position continued to 2022 where I was a lead counselor working with groups of 20 to 25 kids at a time. This position made me great with time management and working with kids of all ages as I worked with multiple of the age groups that attended this camp. I was also a full time nanny for a family with 4 girls for a year where my duties consisted of helping them with school work due to them still being in virtual schooling which then shifted to getting the oldest two ready in the mornings and on and off the bus for 4th and 1st grade and helping them complete homework when they came home. I was also the main source of transportation for their preschool aged daughter and I spent full days with Read more their one year old. I cooked meals for all of the children and created activities to do with the kids that consisted of arts and crafts and also focused on dedicated reading time for all of the children every day. I did light house work for the family that consisted of keeping the house tidy by picking up toys and putting away laundry for the children.
