Since the age of 12, I have loved working with children. I would do so anyway I could- Volunteer work, beginning my first job as a Birthday Party Host, and of course, babysitting for neighbors. I recently graduated from UCCS with a degree in English and an emphasis in secondary education. I have my Colorado Teaching License now after a year of student-teaching 6th grade and am currently getting my master's degree in writing. In the meantime, I am working as a substitute teacher for Academy District 20, while also babysitting. I have had a fingerprint background check, in May of this year, per the CDE.

Jenny is so kind and awesome! She helped watch my toddler during appointments and was always on time. My kiddo really enjoyed playing with her! Jenny has a lot of experience working with children older than my kiddo is, but I feel my toddler received just as great care as the traditional sitters that only work with babies. That’s because Jenny is earnest about following instructions and preferences and isn’t afraid to figure something out if she doesn’t know.
