I started my journey at UIUC and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in child development psychology. After college, I became a lead teacher at a montessori academy where I was placed within the toddler and infant room. Here is where I earned several certifications including SIDS, SBS, and mandated reporter training. While I was a teacher, I was responsible for potting training, feeding, changing clothes and diapers, nap time, and implementing enriching play time and learning. Throughout the past few years I have since been a nanny as well as working within the medical field(clinical research, medical assistant) for which I have also acquired several certifications. During my time as a nanny I have become a part of a few families lives and am currently nannying for a family with 3 beautiful children part time. While caring for the kids I walk them to school, drive them to activities, cook Read more all meals and prepare lunches, set up play dates, organize enriching activities and playtime, as well as household chores(dishes, sweeping, mopping, laundry) while the kids are at school. My favorite thing about nannying is developing a relationship with the kids and family and I love making everyday as fun as possible. I am very high energy, hard working, and take pride in knowing that I care for the kids with love, respect, and an openness that allows them to flourish and grow.
