I've had a babysitting job since I was younger & took care of my younger brother & cousins also. Growing up I would go to my mom's work at the facility & see the elderly wondering & doing activities and I would enjoy interacting, talking, playing games & help assist them. I knew then what career path I'd choose to take when I was out of high school. Immediately after I graduated high school, I took a Medical Assistant course which let me to Care Giving as my first job. I've cared for developmentally disabled children/adults. Most of my training came from hands on experience caring for others one on one in their home. Caring for others came naturally for me. I'm a big kid at heart.
