My name is Riley! I have worked with children for most of my adult life. I babysat and nannied throughout high school, in early college I worked at the YMCA Kid Zone, then became a float teacher at a Primrose school. I moved on to be an Assistant Montessori Teacher and then became a Lead Montessori Teacher. I currently work with toddlers at Corporate Kids 601, but have worked with all age groups. I have also coached volleyball for a girls 13’s team! Working with children is very much a passion, and always has been. I started to notice that children were drawn to me when I was in 8th grade. I started to be more aware of this as time went on—and it was so prevalent and profound, I knew I was meant to work with children. My favorite age group is 1-4 years old, but have worked with Read more all ages. Nurturing children brings me joy! I only allow screen time that parents approve of, love to play outside, love to do art projects, and very much will act as a sort of tutor. I go over things like shapes, colors, letters, numbers, sight words etc. I am willing to complete a lesson plan for your children for you to look over and approve. I am currently CPR and first aid certified and I have a bachelors degree from UMKC. I have my own vehicle, am willing to transport children, work with multiple children, run errands, clean, and travel if needed. I also work very well with animals.
