Hello! My name is Jo Anne. Are you looking for a nanny who is creative, timely, empathy-filled, generous, kind, ultra-experienced, and who has a history of becoming like a loving extended family member (as told to her by her past nanny families)? Are you interested in a professional who not only supports the way YOU choose to run your family and household, but goes the extra mile with diligent excellence? That's me! I'm a nanny who has been an educator, home-schooler, and creative arts Sunday School teacher with a Bachelor Degree. I also have obtained medical education and experience as well. I have household management, cleaning, and organizational skills that would benefit a family who needs these services. I have worked with children and the elderly all of my life - beginning in my childhood. I have worked for children and the elderly population simultaneously, and know the vast benefits Read more of these populations interacting with each other. My philosophy includes the premise that every life is precious and has great potential to reach milestones and goals. No matter the age and ability, everyone has purpose. I strive to assist those I work with to live with laughter and fulfillment. I am the fourth oldest of eleven children. I love to learn, and I am absolutely fascinated with children and their development! I also am a published author and hope to publish children's books and curriculum in the future. I enjoy doing educational projects with children according to their developmental levels...especially child-led interest projects such as with science experiments, sports, and crafts. I believe that reading to and with children is an important part of every day. It is fun to involve my charges in community events such as library story time and activities, parks, even play dates, if that is the parent's desire. I have worked as a paid nanny since 2010. My experience babysitting, teaching, and working with children spans over 40 years. I home schooled my own children, and am willing to home school for a family who needed this service. Thank you for taking the time to peruse my introduction! My CPR certification is current. Thank you, Jo Anne PS I do not participate in nanny share situations.
